A Wanganui employer is looking for a Forklift Driver/Baling Plant Operator to join their hard-working team. Duties for the position include preparing cardboard, paper and plastic products for recycling, loading a baler, stacking bales, unloading and loading trucks and cleaning work areas. Candidates must have hands on experience driving a forklift in a similar role. Work is 40 hours per week
SHEET METAL WORKER
A Wanganui employer is looking for Fabricators/Installers to join the team. Tasks involve working with glass, timber and aluminium. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication or have manufacturing experience in a related building trade. Applicants need to have a technical mindset, be a problem solver, can read and interpret production instructions and other technical information. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be reliable and keen to work hard. Work on your own and in a team. A full class 1 driver licence and able to drive a manual vehicle. Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, 35 to 45 hours per week, flexible arrangement will be considered. Pay starts at $22 to $25 per hour depending on experience. Ability to pass a drug check and minor convictions considered on a case-by-case basis
ELECTRICAL TRADES ASSISTANT
Training and Upskilling provided.Based in Whanganui travelling throughout Taranaki to Wellington Regions. We specialise in supplying leading edge technology, along with repairs and maintenance of: Weighbridges, Weighing scales, Filling and Dosing systems, Calibration of Instrumentation devices across a range of industries and are seeking a trainee service technician to learn and to carry out these duties.
ABOUT YOU -- Is Not afraid to get your hands dirty and has an understanding of how things work mechanically or electrically, Is a strong problem solver and is willing to give things a go, Has excellent in written and verbal communication, Is a positive person with a can do attitude ,Has a high level of attention to detail, Has good time management, Is computer literate, Is physically fit as YOU will be lifting calibration weights, Has a clean New Zealand Full Drivers Licence.
