Experienced Warehouse Operator Position
The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for movement and logistics through the warehouse including processing, cleaning & maintenance, health & safety, quality control & stock management and will continue to apply creativity and initiative to warehouse operations and keep management informed of steps required to maximize operational efficiency.
Duties:
- Manage incoming crop/product
- Maintain steady flow of
product through warehouse
- Processing of seed
(cleaning, grading and dehulling)
- Product packaging/production
- Health & Safety
- Maintain warehouse food
safety & hygiene standards
- Maintaining warehouse
general cleanliness
- Maintain workplace & personal
safety standards
- Maintaining Bio-grow
(certified organic process), HACCP & MPI standards
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiasm to contribute and learn
- Hardworking
- Ability to grow and develop with company
- Experience working in a warehouse and/or distribution company
- Experience working in a processing plant
- Food control plan experience
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
- Great time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Problem solving & thinking outside of the box
- Positive, trustworthy and down-to-earth
- Able to self-motivate and work
