We have a brand-new traffic management training opportunity that you might be interested in that offers you the chance to gain your “Traffic Control” and “Forklift” Licences. 

This one-day program which is offered by Work and Income will be free and run by

“Land Based Training”.  This is a GREAT opportunity to upskill especially for YOUTH with minimal work history who would be interested in this area. 

 

At present this is what the TC Course covers & what you may expect to get from it:

The course covers both level 1 and low volume level 1 road control and the qualification is valid for up to 3 years. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of; traffic management plans, set up worksites according to traffic management plans, manually control traffic at roadwork site, how to work safely within protected areas and traffic safety for plant and vehicles at roadwork sites.

Participants will also be able to gain 20877- and 20878-unit standards
