Furniture Assembler
A New Plymouth based employer requires a furniture installer
to join their friendly team. Previous joinery experience and use of battery
drill would be beneficial but full training will be given. Customer care is important
as well as great communication skills, enthusiasm, the ability to make decisions
and a professional, mature attitude. You will need a full, clean driver licence
and be able to drive a manual, have an excellent work ethic, be able to think
on your feet and be aware of Health & Safety practices. Some heavy lifting
is involved so you need to be quite physically fit. Duties include assembling
furniture, phoning customers, washing vehicles and some admin. The position is
for 25-30 hours plus weekly, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.00pm - can be
flexible.
Retail Sales Assistant – Okato
Wanted - a retail assistant with a mature attitude, a keen
local person with a ‘can-do’ attitude who is bright, vibrant and a real ‘go
getter’. You need to be reliable and punctual with good customer service
skills. Previous retail experience is beneficial, and duties will include serving
customers, being able to work in a small team and being flexible. Some heavy
lifting is involved, so you will need to be physically fit and able to pass
both a drug test and a police check. 30 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 2
shifts 7.00am to 1pm or 1pm to 7pm and every 3rd weekend.
