IT Camp


This is a really exciting IT Training opportunity which will help get keen youth into employment

   

The Learner Me programme is targeted toward clients aged 18- 25 seeking employment within the digital technology field and have an interest in IT

 

Youth who have experience within computer gaming are particularly encouraged as this may well “bridge" the gap between your gaming skills and employment within a related field   


The aim is to educate young people in the relevant skill set they need in the IT employment environment.


The tech camp is divided into 5 teams and depending on the interest and skill level, attendees will be involved in intensive upskilling program alongside developing soft skills. The program allows attendees to set their own pace and learning goals the aim is to provide you will skills to work and perform in your respective team. The five teams are:

1 - coding and web development
2 - hardware and network systems
3 - graphics design
4 - photography and videography, and
5 - content writing and social media marketing
 
Proformac who will be running this Learner Me program, has 5 IT businesses within their organisation where they envisage there will be employment opportunities for all attendees if all works out over this course - based on the attendees skills and ability.

 


  • 12 week programme which is FT – 5 days per week  
  • Looking to start 20 who will start working on a project
  • Employment support will be provided by Grant Langley
  • At this stage start date 01/07/20
