Groundsperson

A local Patea employer seeks a Grounds/Maintenance Person to join the team on a 1-year fixed term contract. Duties include keeping the grounds well maintained and presentable. You’ll be mowing and grooming lawns, maintaining gardens and keeping all the equipment in working order. You'll also be performing general building maintenance including painting and other basic repair jobs. Applicants need to be experienced and have a range of practical skills and knowledge to perform the tasks. This is a safety conscious environment and good Health and Safety knowledge is desirable. You’ll have a full class 1 driver licence, be fit, work well in a team and have excellent communication skills. Total hours per week are 25, start and finish times are negotiable.
