Tyre Fitter

A Wanganui tyre outlet seeks a full time Tyre Fitter/Mechanical Assistant to join their team. Applicants will have previous experience in a similar position and need to have good mechanical knowledge. Excellent customer service skills are required. A full class 1 licence is a must. Ability to pass a drug test and police check.

 

Machinery Maintenance Person

A local Whanganui employer is looking for a fulltime worker to carry out engineering, manufacturing and machinery maintenance. Candidates will need to have good work ethic, have initiative and time management skills, be physically fit, self-motivated with good communication skills. Experience with tools/machinery and being a problem solver is a must for the position. There is out of town travel required for the position.

 

Factory Hand

Our Wanganui based employer is seeking Factory Hands / Workers to join the team. This is for a local pet food factory where you will be required to do shift work. The employer is seeking applicants who can work flexible rosters on various shifts (we can offer day, afternoon and night shifts which will also include weekends). Having some previous factory hand experience is preferred, but not essential. What we are really needing is applicants who are keen and reliable.

 

Meat Processing Worker

A local meat works is looking for Meat Processing Workers to join their team. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, motivated and very reliable. Some knife handling skills would also be preferable. You must pass drug checks and police checks (however minor convictions may be looked at on a case by case basis).
