Truck Driver
A local Heavy Machinery and Scaffolding Hire Company requires an
experienced Truck Driver with a minimum of a full class 2 Truck Driver licence.
Duties
include
-
assisting
with loading and unloading trucks,
-
transporting
equipment to and from the yard,
-
You
will be required to document and log work/rest periods and kilometres
spent driving and retain fuel receipts,
-
inspect
vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- perform
preventative maintenance,
-
report
defects, accidents or violations,
-
comply
with truck driving rules and regulations
- follow
the company's policies and procedures.
You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and a Police check.
Prerequisites
You need
- proven work experience as a
Truck Driver and hold current Truck Driver licences – Minimum Class 2.
- Be physically fit and
strong.
- Hands on experience with
electronic equipment and software.
- Ability to drive the
required hours with regular away travel. Extensive knowledge of applicable
truck driving rules and regulations.
- Be adaptable and resilient.
- Must have the ability to
pass a pre-employment drug test and a Police check
