Gardening Position (Part-Time Opportunity) 🌱🍃

A small family lawnmowing company based in Whanganui is seeking a Gardner to join their thriving team! Help with childcare arrangements may be available.  Daily tasks include general gardening, pruning and lawn mowing. Full training will be provided to the successful applicant. You’ll be driving a company vehicle, so you’ll need a clean full class 1 driver licence and have experience driving a manual vehicle. The role has the potential to offer full-time hours in the future. Days and hours are Monday to Wednesday, starting at 8.30am or 9am and working 20 hours total per week. Dairy Farm Assistant

A Stratford Dairy Farm seeks a positive energetic Dairy Farm Assistant to join the team. Milking 370 cows through a 36 aside dairy shed, very quiet herd that are well looked after so you must have a love of animals to fit in and have excellent animal husbandry skills. There will be lots of variety and you’ll be busy with; milk harvesting, calf rearing, feeding, shifting and moving stock. Fencing repairs and break fencing. Weed control. Tractor driving skills needed for feeding out, towing a wagon, rolling and spraying. Working 12 days on and 2 off, a minimum of 54 hours per week.
